https://www.linkedin.com/in/victoriagrayuwa/Victoria is a public health professional with over 15 years’ experience delivering complex research, health promotion and international programs across academic, government and not-for-profit sectors.
Her expertise lies in project management, stakeholder engagement and governance, with a strong track record of supporting multi-site initiatives - from randomised controlled trials in regional Western Australia to global health campaigns delivered across multiple countries. She is particularly passionate about translating evidence into practice and working collaboratively to deliver meaningful health outcomes.
Victoria joined The Kids in mid-2026 combining her two passions: public health research and project management in her work supporting the international PELICAN network (Prematurity's Effects on the Lungs in Children and Adults Network). PELICAN brings together researchers and clinicians from around the world to improve our understanding of the long-term lung health impacts of prematurity and ultimately improve outcomes for people born preterm.
Prior career highlights include managing a $2.3M cancer research trial in regional WA, leading statewide health promotion campaigns for Cancer Council WA and The WA Heart Foundation and coordinating the global Stroke is Treatable campaign for the World Stroke Organization.
More recently, while raising her young family, she has remained actively engaged in professional practice as a Board Member and Vice-President of Playgroup WA, contributing to governance, strategy and organisational direction.
