Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic condition caused by mutation of the cystic fibrosis transmembrane regulator (CFTR) gene. Recently licensed modulator therapies target the defective CFTR protein and have transformed the formerly life-limiting trajectory of people with CF (pwCF).
