The Data Safety Monitoring Committee (DSMC) is an independent group of experts that oversees participant safety and the integrity of the CIRCA DIEM Study. The DSMC regularly reviews study data, including safety outcomes and trial conduct, to ensure that the rights, wellbeing, and interests of participants are protected. The Committee provides independent recommendations to the study investigators and sponsors regarding the ongoing conduct of the trial.
