Knowledge is Power: Trans Young People’s Perceptions of Parental Reactions to Their Gender Identity, and Perceived Barriers and Facilitators to Parental SupportParental support is strongly correlated with protective factors for trans youth, however, most experience unsupportive parental attitudes.
