CliniKids is the first clinical service of The Kids Research Institute Australia, providing autism therapies and supports for young children.
The newly created centre will focus on infants and kids showing early signs of autism, other developmental delays or have a diagnosis of autism.
Respiratory infection and wheezing illness are leading causes of hospitalisation in childhood, placing a significant burden on families and healthcare systems. However, reliably distinguishing children at risk of developing persistent disease from those likely to outgrow their symptoms remains a clinical challenge. Earlier identification would allow clinicians to focus care and resources on those most likely to benefit from long-term management, while reducing anxiety and uncertainty about the future for families.
This article summarizes data from collaborative group and institutional trials that have advanced the science of pediatric brain tumors.

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) remains a leading cause of mortality and morbidity worldwide. RSV seasonality was disrupted by COVID-19-associated nonpharmaceutical interventions (NPIs). We review RSV seasonality, molecular epidemiology, clinical manifestations, and community awareness to inform future prevention strategies.
